Making a real difference to the 2011 Japan earthquake/tsunami survivors…….

The Japan America Society of Chicago is pleased to support the Kesennuma Volunteer Network Seikeikai in the selling of handmade bracelets and key chains. Seikeikai has created the Kesennuma Misanga (Bracelet) Project for survivors who require an income source while working from home. Survivors seek to better their lives, get back to work, and become self-sufficient as their community is rebuilt. Bracelets and key chains can be purchased for $8 each (cash or check only) at upcoming Society events. All proceeds (minus the cost of materials) of each bracelet and key chain goes directly to the weaver.
