The Japan America Society of Chicago is currently accepting donations for the Japan Earthquake Relief Fund. 100% of all proceeds will go directly to The Japanese Red Cross. The Japan America Society of Chicago is a 501 (c ) (3) organization. All contributions are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
All those affected by these events will remain foremost in our thoughts and prayers.
On June 14, 2011 the Japan America Society of Chicago submitted its first wire transfer totaling $141,179 to the Japanese Red Cross.
Second wire transfer totaling $76,357.62 was submitted to the Japanese Red Cross on December 1, 2011
