Chicago Japanese Classes
Spring II Registration In Progress!

The Japan America Society of Chicago now offers 8 levels of Japanese language courses. Each is tailored to the level of expertise and type of study required by students. Weekly lessons provide students with an opportunity to begin the study of Japanese or to sharpen previously acquired skills. All courses are taught by an experienced native instructor of the Japanese language.

No Borders, No Limits: 1960s Nikkatsu Action Cinema

From April 5 through May 23, the Gene Siskel Film Center and The Japan America Society of Chicago present "No Borders, No Limits: 1960s Nikkatsu Action Cinema," an eight-title retrospective of films produced at the height of Nikkatsu's "New Action" period, from the late 50s to the start of the 70s. Members of The Japan America Society of Chicago admitted for $5 to any Nikkatsu screening.
